Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students' learning and development, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, assisting with classwork, assignments, and projects.
  • Support students with special educational needs (SEN), implementing individualized learning plans and strategies.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Assist teachers with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on student performance and development.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing materials and resources for lessons.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role preferred.
  • A passion for working with children and supporting their learning and development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and diversity in the classroom.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare preferred.
