Site Manager - 20 weeks

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a dynamic office conversion project in Teesside. This role is perfect for a professional with a proven track record in managing construction sites, particularly those involving complex refurbishments or conversions.

The role is a freelance role starting 02/09/24 and is expected to last for 20 weeks!

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the contracts
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
  • Manage site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and progress reports.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
  • Address and resolve any issues or delays promptly to keep the project on track.
  • Lead the site teams in an effective and efficient manor

Requirements:

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS card
  • 3-day First Aid certification
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on office conversion or refurbishment projects.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and quality control
