Job Title: Theatre Practitioner (ODP/RGN)
Band: NHS Band 5
Location: Oswestry, North Shropshire
Salary: In line with NHS Band 5 rate Cap. (£20 days, £27 Saturday, £34 Sunday)
Winlight Recruitment is hiring experienced Theatre Practitioners to work on a ad-hoc/block booking basis at a top orthopaedic hospital. The role offers access to cutting-edge facilities and a supportive environment dedicated to professional development.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality, patient-focused care in the theatre environment
- Work autonomously as a sole practitioner, managing your work load efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure patient safety, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- Diploma in Operating Department Practice or RGN with Anaesthetic Qualification.
- Previous anaesthetic/recovery experience in theatres
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Desirable:
- Theatre qualifications and specialist orthopaedic knowledge
