Job Description:
Driver Hire Halifax are working alongside a leading logistics and transport company based in Halifax, seeking reliable and experienced Class 2 Drivers to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for flexible work on an ad hoc basis, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Load and unload goods as required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues.
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service during deliveries.
Requirements:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
- Digital Tachograph card.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
