Are you an experienced Employee Relations Partner looking for a new opportunity? Our client, a dynamic and innovative organisation, is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable professional to join their team. As an Employee Relations Partner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive advice and guidance on UK employment law to various stakeholders within the organisation.

Role: Employee Relations Partner

Duration: Full Time/Permanent

Location: Solihull (Hybrid 2 days a week in office)

Rate: Competitive

What does this role involve?

  • Offering expert advice on complex employment matters and related projects.
  • Efficient tribunal management, including developing case management and defence strategies for tribunal claims.
  • Managing TUPE processes and handling sensitive and complex employment matters.
  • Monitoring trends in tribunal activity and employee relations and reporting opportunities and achievements through data analysis.
  • Identifying emerging issues and guiding the organisation towards proactive solutions.
  • Liaising with external parties such as ACAS, unions, solicitors, and barristers during the tribunal case management process.
  • Acting as a partner for internal stakeholders, serving as a link between the employee relations team, HR, and the organisation's customers.
  • Advising on settlement agreement terms and negotiating with employees' solicitors.

Who would be a good fit for this role?

The ideal candidate for this position would have:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in effective employment tribunal claim management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar employee relations role and CIPD qualified.
  • A degree in law or a related field (or equivalent education).
  • Extensive knowledge of employment law.
  • Strong experience in partnering with a variety of stakeholders and being an effective team player.
  • Practical and commercial advice on employment law.
  • Demonstrated policy and procedure development to ensure compliance with legislation.
  • The ability to make sound judgments for complex, ambiguous, and sensitive employment matters.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced, and challenging business environment.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build positive and collaborative relationships.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with developments in UK employment law and ethical standards.
