We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Junior Designer based in Central London.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Develop proficiency in using AutoCAD and Revit software to gain a solid understanding of the fundamentals of technical design.
  • Demonstrate strong listening, communication, numeracy, organisational, and IT skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Adhere to all company procedures and policies, including quality, health, and safety guidelines.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills with a desire to develop practical solutions.
  • Convert verbal and written information into accurate two-dimensional drawings for on-site construction, demonstrating attention to detail.
  • Build, develop, and maintain good relationships with external customers and subcontractors.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and professional attendance, punctuality, and personal appearance.
  • Show a willingness to undertake future training and continue personal development.



Essential:

  • Proven experience in designing within the Mechanical & Electrical industry.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD or Revit.


Desirable:

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.


Interview Process:

The selection process consists of two stages: the first interview will be conducted via Teams, followed by a final face-to-face interview.
