Salary range
Midlands - £30,801 (Full-Time Salary) / Pro rata for 34hrs £27,926 (Part Time 34hrs Mon ? Fri)
Corporate Policy Coordinator
Policy Coordinators are responsible for the delivery of policies and procedures to support the provision of a high-quality service to our customers and the business. They are an essential part of the Strategy Insight and Performance team delivering policies and procedures that meet our own standards as well as regulatory and legislative expectations.
Using project management methodology to deliver each change, Policy Coordinators work collaboratively across directorates to deliver simple, easy to understand documentation. Policy Coordinators also support business and cultural change through clear communications, listening to customer and colleague feedback and planning implementation.
Interviews are planned to take place in the week commencing Monday 26th August 2024.
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent IT literacy Microsoft Office experience
- Strong project management skills
- Involvement with successful business change
- Working on several projects at one time
- Working with multiple teams across the business
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as by themselves

- Working with policy and procedure owners to support delivery of simple easy to understand accurate policies and procedures
- Shaping and proof-reading content provided by policy/procedure owners to comply with the corporate templates
- Guide the development of each policy and procedure with the owner, providing assurance to the business that all stakeholders have been engaged, appropriate consultation has taken place and relevant approvals obtained and delivered on time
- Attend workshops and meetings where policy and procedure redesign are discussed to support continuous improvement, working with colleagues across MTVH to support the improvements to systems and processes
- Communicate the outcomes of each planned change using appropriate communication channels to keep colleagues informed of changes to policies and procedures
- Maintaining an accurate catalogue of information (including internal and external websites) on policies, procedures, owners and review dates to assure the business of compliance
- Looking externally for best practice to support continuous improvement in our policy and procedure processes including national quality standards
- Build strong and effective partnerships with internal teams to ensure that shared strategies and plans are understood and implemented
- Maintaining an up-to-date policy and procedure library for colleague and customers
- Supporting colleagues across the business through provision of regular and clear guidance through internal communication channels
- Proactively seek out feedback from colleagues to support continuous improvement and own development
