Pipefitter

TEXO Recruitment are searching for a Pipefitter on behalf of our external client, on a contract, full time basis in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire. Accommodation can be provided.
Responsible for the preparation of materials to be used in pipefitting processes, duties of which include, but may not be restricted to:
- Ability to interpret drawings
- Liaise with departmental chargehands to progress jobs through the facility
- Carry out material checks prior to project commencement
- Shaping and preparation of pipework materials
- Tack welding of fit-ups in various materials
- Ensure correct geometry of components utilising Automet as/when required
- Ensure Quality Assurance system is maintained by diligent upkeep of materials traceability
- Ensure you work safely and you are not endangering yourself, those around you or the environment
- Ensuring client requirements are met at all time
The candidate should also have the following:
- Time served pipefitter
- Relevant industry experience
- Experienced in use of dimensional control equipment (Automet)
