Location: Kennington, Oxfordshire, OX1
- Salary: £28,957 per year (£14.85 per hour) plus benefits
- Hours: Up to 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday on a 12 hours shift rota basis
- Employment type: Full-time, Permanent

We need a Male Senior Support Worker who is calm, patient, and resilient. You will need to be able to drive and have a consistent approach supporting the person. You will need to assist the person we support to engage in the interests he loves.
Furthermore, as Male Senior Support Worker you will be responsible for:
- You will be a strong team player with the ability to lead by example, being professional, patient and calm under pressure with experience of providing extraordinary support.
- You will supervise daily outputs and assist the deputy manager in managing staff performance, development, and appraisals.
- You will have a QCF in Health & Social Care level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) with willingness to undertake a level 3 in Health & Social Care and demonstrate reasonable knowledge of regulatory standards for supported/residential living.
- Working closely with Positive Behaviour Specialist to ensure we are following the PBS plan
- Getting to know the person you will support and help them to live the life they want to live
- Taking personal responsibility for the quality of care and assistance delivered to the person you will care for
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the person you will take care of
- Helping the person you will assist plan towards and achieve both short and long term aims
- Planning and be in favour of activities, such as learning and social engagements always being creative and exploring new opportunities
- Assisting the person, you will assist to manage their personal affairs making, preparing for, and attending any appointments
- Ensuring the person, you will assist and his family is treated with respect, dignity, and equality
- To work in accordance with SeeAbility’s values
About the person you will support
Adam is a young man with autism and moderate learning difficulties. He likes to go out in his vehicle on pre planned routes. He loves music, BBC 1, BBC 2 radio and colouring activities. His favourite food is pasta. Adam likes routine and predictability. His team need to be dedicated, resilient and think outside of the box to enable him to reach his full potential.
