Land Manager Job in Whiteley, Hampshire

New requirement for a Land Manager job in Whiteley, Hampshire, with a privately owned reputable housebuilder with sites across the region, West Sussex, and Wiltshire. Offering a salary of up to £70,000 plus car allowance and benefits.

Currently seeking a Land Manager or Land Buyer to join our client's office in Whiteley, Hampshire. The team of 75+ cover developments across the South with a primary focus in Hampshire. This role will see you establish relationships and negotiating with clients to secure the acquisition of land for bespoke developments through to large-scale schemes of over 1,000 units.

Role & Responsibilities

• Identify potential land opportunities for a variety of residential developments
• Initial site feasibility studies and development appraisal, feeding back to the department director
• Attend site viewings and client/third party meetings
• Conduct research from a variety of sources such as online databases, local government websites and industry connections
• Negotiation on legal paperwork and documentation related to land purchases.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years in a similar role as a Land Buyer or Land Manager
• Proven experience identifying and purchasing land for the house building industry
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Experience with the legal and contractual aspects of land acquisition
• Full UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
