Finance and Accounts Administrator

£30,000 - £32,000/annum £30,000 - £32,000 Depending on experience

Our client is looking for a full time Finance and Accounts Administrator on a permanent basis to assist the Finance team with administration and contribute to the smooth running of the department.

To be considered you must have previous finance and accounting administration experience within a fast paced office environment and be confident to learn internal computer systems.

Duties include:

  • Maintain a multi-currency purchase ledger for two companies
  • Receive and deal with all telephone enquiries including follow-up
  • Matching purchase orders
  • Processing invoices and credits in multiple currencies
  • Payment runs
  • Reconciliation of vendor accounts and company credit cards
  • Processing expenses, commissions & pensions
  • Petty cash
  • First line payroll administration (checking overtime etc)
  • Posting of bank payments
  • Maintain records, filing and other documentation
  • Other Ad hoc duties as required to assist the Finance team

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous finance and accounts administration experience
  • Worked in a fast-paced environment
  • Speed and accuracy is imperative
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills are a must
  • Professional and courteous telephone manner
  • ‘Can do’ attitude and able to use initiative
  • Ability to work well under pressure

Hours

Some flexibility can be given for reduced hours 30 - 37.5 hours per week. 5 days of the week must be covered.

Salary

£30,000 - £32,000 Depending on experience

(Salary will be pro rata for reduced hours)
