An inclusive and progressive nursery in the Borough of Southwark is seeking a Nursery 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 and small group support to children in their first years of education.
As a Nursery 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to deliver material in Maths, Reading, Writing, Phonics and more, as well as assisting children with SEN/SEMH needs.

Nursery 1:1 Teaching Assistant Job Description
- £105 - £110 per day
- Full-time role (term-term only)
- Monday - Friday (no weekends)
- Located in Southwark
- Long-Term, Full-Time role
- September 2024 start
Nursery 1:1 Teaching Assistant Role
- Providing support in the classroom as well as small groups
- Working closely with children with additional educational needs
- Assisting teaching staff to ensure a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for everyone
The Ideal Nursery 1:1 Teaching Assistant
- Experience working within EYFS
- A desire to kickstart their career in teaching, education, or childcare
- A degree-level qualification and strong academics
- Previous employment or experience with SEN/SEMH needs
