CNC Operative

A long established manufacturing company based in Sittingbourne are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist on a permanent basis.
Working Monday-Thursday 07.30-16.00 and Friday 07.30-13.30, you will be a skilled machinist, able to set and run CNC milling machines/lathes.
The position involves:
- Processing mouldings within the machining department encompassing CNC turning, CNC milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling.
- Processing of parts in accordance with the relevant drawings, techniques and instructions.
You may also be required to undertake the following tasks on occasion:
- Inspection of machined parts.
- First off checks of other operators work.
- Duties may vary and can include other roles when required.
The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing and CNC experience, must work well under pressure and to deadlines, have excellent time keeping skills, a positive can-do attitude and great literacy and numeracy skills. Ideal candidate must also be able to work using their own initiative and prioritise tasks whilst being able to problem solve.
