Fire Risk Officer

£30 - £32 PAYE

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Fire Risk Officer to join our Team based in Tower Hamlets

The Role:

• To ensure the highest standards of fire safety & provide expert advice
• To ensure that Tower Hamlets Homes (THH) meets the requirements of all Fire & Building Safety legislation
• To reduce the risk of fire to all housing stock through effective management of fire risk assessments
• Carrying out inspections and overseeing remedial works
• Helping to client specialist fire engineering reports and FRAs

The Candidate:

• Specialist knowledge of fire safety legislation and its applications to housing
• Knowledge of the requirements for good fire safety management and maintenance operations.
• Knowledge of Fire Risk Assessment process and guidance/best practice (PAS 79)
• Minimum 3 years' experience within the fire safety sector, property management or similar sector.
• Experience of managing or advising on fire safety in a medium to large organisation.
• Experience in researching, developing, and implementing policy and strategy to meet business requirements.
• Experience of working with others to deliver change.
• Experience of preparing and presenting reports in a range of settings.
• Experience of completing and reviewing fire risk assessments or audits for housing assets.
