Our client, a trusted accountancy firm, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. You would manage your own portfolio of clients but also lead and mentor a team of part qualified accountants.

Hours of work are Monday – Friday 8.45am – 5pm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Accountant, you will be:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of part-qualified accountants
  • Managing financial records, preparing and reviewing financial statements, analysing data
  • Maintaining a reduced client list to ensure personalised and high-quality service
  • Contributing to business planning and growth strategies in line with revenue targets
  • Engaging with clients to understand their business needs and provide strategic advice

WHAT YOU NEED

To be considered for the role of Senior Accountant, you will need:

  • Fully ACCA/ACA qualification (or completing imminently)
  • Proven experience in accounting with a strong foundation in bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
