The Role:

As an HR Assistant, you will:

  • Assist with HR processes for incoming staff
  • Maintain a spreadsheet of information and documents for staff
  • Prepare folders with contracts, HMRC starter forms, H&S forms, data protection forms, privacy statements, and working time opt-out forms
  • Handle expense forms and key information sheets
  • Support UK recruitment
  • Schedule interviews and right-to-work appointments
  • Book staff into induction sessions
  • Update the spreadsheet tracking documentation returns
  • Print necessary documents such as maps, staff information, and timesheets
  • Perform various administrative tasks
  • Print and laminate health & safety handbooks, evacuation booklets, RBL signs, evacuation plans, and cards
  • File weekly timesheets
  • Meet and greet groups
  • Print, scan, and label all scanned documents

The Candidate:

The ideal HR Assistant will:

  • Have experience in HR or administrative roles
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Possess excellent organisational skills
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Have good communication skills
  • Be a team player with a proactive attitude
