Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial pumps and they are offering an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer on a permanent basis to further their career in the heart of the Birmingham area!
Annual Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: Mon - Thur: 8.00am to 4.30pm, Fri - 8.00am to 3.30pm
Duties of the Maintenance Fitter:
Experience & Skills:

Duties of the Maintenance Fitter:
- Sourcing & repairing industrial sized pumps
- Proficient at using hand tools and machinery
- Must be able to read from engineering drawings
- Help with upkeep of the building when required
- Fault finding and problem solving
- Planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Keep an accurate log of all work carried out
Experience & Skills:
- At least 5 years experience Mechanical Fitting or Maintenance Electrical
- Must have relevant qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Willing to learn new skills
- Self-initiative
- Strong communication in a team
