Quality Engineer - 6 Month Contract – York, North Yorkshire

Offering Circa £45,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary

Our client is an established manufacturer with a proven track record gained within the Construction industry. Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting a Quality Engineer (6 Month Contract) to review their quality performance across two key areas; Product Design & Manufacture and Onsite Installation & Service.

Quality Engineer – Key Responsibilities

  • To our drive to improve our quality performance.
  • Review our client’s current processes and quality performance in the relevant areas.
  • Identify focus improvement areas and conduct RCA’s.
  • Identify containment and corrective actions and support the implementation.
  • Identify and suggest solution to process inadequacies.
  • Advise on future Quality initiatives that would support further quality improvements.

Quality Engineer – Candidate

  • Experienced conducting Quality improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
  • Confident leading continuous improvement projects. Able to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

The Quality Engineer position is offering Circa. £45,000 - £50,000 basic salary (pro rata) on a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be based from our client’s York Head Office.
