Sales, Process Planning & Estimating Engineer

Alecto Recruitment is in continued partnership with an established Precision Engineering business in Leighton Buzzard who have a requirement for a Sales, Process Planning & Estimating Engineer.

Due to continued growth, the company is looking for a Sales, Process Planning & Estimating Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The company are a market leader within the manufacture of components for the Aerospace, Oil & Gas and Defense industries. With low volume production being paramount, it is essential that relationships are maintained and the best possible service be given.

This role will suit someone who has experience working within the Precision Engineering/CNC industry within a Sales, Planning or Estimation role.

Knowledge of machining is key, as accurate quotations will need to be given to current and new clients.

The role:

• Work directly with company clients on Quotations and Queries
• Deliver accurate quotations and Estimations in a timely manner
• Understand appropriate engineering methods to suit quotations
• Liaise with the Engineering Quality and Production teams to ensure delivery

What the company is looking for:

• Experience within Precision Engineering/CNC is essential
• Ability to read Engineering drawings
• Attention to detail is paramount
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer literate - CAD experience would be an advantage

What the company is offering:

• Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
• Healthcare

• 25 days holiday (inc Christmas shutdown) + Bank Holidays

Working Hours: Monday - Thursday- 08:00-17:00, Friday- 08:00-14:30
