Driver Hire Southampton have an exciting new opportunity for some Class 2 Tramping work. You will be working for a company which specialises in general haulage deliveries around the UK. You will be required to overnight in the vehicle from Monday to Friday

Information you need to know about this Class 2 Tramping role:

• Monday to Friday
• Ongoing full time work
• Start time between 6:00am- 7:00am (10-12-hour days on average)
• Long distance driving
• Up to 4 deliveries per day
• Delivering palletised freight to businesses on general haulage
• Operate pump truck to unload pallets, however they may be forklifted off at some sites
• Staying overnight in the cab
• Completing all relevant paperwork correctly
• Vehicle checks

What we require from you as a Class 2 Tramper:

• Full UK Class 2 driving licence
• Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
• Minimum of 1 year driving experience is essential
• Previous strapping experience
• Comfortable staying out/ sleeping in cab
• Previous similar work is beneficial
• Have a great understanding of health and safety
• Alert and aware of your surroundings
• Have fantastic communication skills
• Excellent understanding of drivers hours
