Job Opportunity: Senior Agent – Orkney

About the Role: Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, has secured several new substation, overhead line, and subsea cable route projects across the North of Scotland for their key client, SSEN. As part of this new venture, they are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Agent to join their established team working on a substation project in Orkney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining strong relationships on-site and off-site
• Ordering equipment and materials
• Managing staff and subcontractors
• Handling permits and conducting safety checks
• Ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met

What’s on Offer:

• Immediate start with a contract of up to 12 months
• Shift pattern: 10 days on, 3 or 4 days off (depending on flights, with flights included in work time)
• Accommodation and flights provided
• Daily rate of £320 to £350, depending on experience (PAYE only)

Requirements:

• Minimum HNC qualification in Civil Engineering
• Essential experience working on substations or in the renewables sector
• SMSTS and CSCS qualifications are required for this role
