We have an exciting opportunity for a Cost Engineer at a key nuclear project located in West Berkshire on a fully remote basis.
Role Details:
- Role: Cost Engineer
- Contract Length: 15 months
- Location: West Berkshire
- Headcount: 1
- IR35 Status: In scope of IR35
- Pay Rate:
- £49.73 per hour Umbrella
- Fully Remote
Key Requirements:
- Security Clearance: Must hold active SC clearance
- Experience: Must have prior experience in a Project Controls environment or a similar Cost role on major construction projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using Cost tools, Excel, and IT systems.
- Key Skills: Must have experience with accruals, journals, forecasting, cost & schedule analysis, and an ability to provide insights for reporting and performance measurement.
Responsibilities:
- Support preparation, monitoring, and control of forecasts and budgets for specified projects.
- Provide cost reports, variance analysis, and trend analysis to support project management.
- Maintain strong standards in environment, safety, health, and quality while working within the team.
- Ensure compliance with all processes, and assist in root cause analysis for cost and performance data.
Additional Information:
- Working Arrangements: The successful contractor will be required to work in the office once/twice a month.
