This role is one of real importance for my client, they are in need of someone with good experience as a Clerk of Works to come on board ASAP because they feel like there is this sort of skill shortage within the business.
About the role of Clerk of Works
A clerk of works inspects the workmanship, quality and safety of work on construction sites and reports back to senior managers and clients. As a clerk of work, you'd be conducting regular site inspections and checking that building plans are being followed correctly. Reporting to an on site Project Manager
Responsibilities for Clerk of Works
The main responsibilities will be:
- Reviewing project documentation
- Inspecting the quality and safety of work
- Monitoring the progress of construction
- Reporting to senior managers and client
Requirements for Clerk of Works
- CSCS
- Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Senior Site Inspections
The company are one of the most exciting to work for right now, they have over 15+ live projects across London and are looking to add 4 more before the turn of the year.
We are offering between £270-320 per day depending on experience.
