I have recently started recruiting for a Production Controller for a leading team competing in the Formula One world championship. As the Production Controller you will be working closely with various department managers, as this team are undergoing a heavy R&D phase on the run up to the all-new regulations coming in 2026…
As the Production Controller, you'll need a knowledge of CNC machining to be able to understand technical diagrams and engineering drawings to be able to understand what is needed from an operational standpoint to get that component manufactured, inspected and most importantly tested to see if this will be going on to the next generation of Formula One Car. So, as well as the strong machining knowledge, you will also need strong organisational skills to devise plans for components and feed that back to hire management and keep their planning system accurate at all times.
