Job Title: Welder Fabricator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding and fabrication and will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. You will be working on sites so CSCS card is needed.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools.
• Operate hand and power tools to grind, drill, and cut metal parts.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet the required standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following company safety procedures and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure project completion within deadlines.
• Keep equipment and tools in good working condition by performing regular maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding and fabrication.
• CSCS Card Preferred
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, metallurgy, and engineering principles.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools to grind, drill, and cut metal parts.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment

Shift and Pay:

Monday- Friday- £18.50 per hour depending on experience

Overtime available
