Winner Education are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school based in the Coleshill/Castle Bromwich area. We are looking for a teaching assistant to full time on a long-term placement with the possibility to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful applicant must have previous SEN experience and hold a minimum Level 2 or level 3 qualification.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions for pupils with SEN requirements
• Assist the main class teacher in lesson preparation
• Tailor learning materials to the requirement of individual learners
• Assist with pupil progress reports
• Liaise with outside agencies when required
• Support the class teacher with pupil assessments

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A minimum of Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Previous SEN experience
• Strong resilience and patience
• Previous experience working with children with SEMH, Autism and sensory impairments
