Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Rate: £346.15 PAYE - £450 umbrella

About the Role:

Walsall Council is seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Finance Manager to lead the transformation of our finance systems and processes. This pivotal role will involve managing a team, ensuring compliance with Care Act regulations, and collaborating closely with commissioning colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the transformation of ASC finance systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support.
Ensure adherence to Care Act regulations and financial best practices.
Lead the implementation of Brokerage functions within ASC.
Work closely with commissioning colleagues to coordinate financial activities.
Utilize Mosaic software effectively to support financial operations.


Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in Adult Social Care finance, with a deep understanding of financial processes and duties under the Care Act.
Demonstrated ability to lead transformative projects and implement new systems.
Experience in managing and developing finance teams.
Strong knowledge of Brokerage functions within ASC.
Familiarity with Mosaic software is highly advantageous.
