Location: Kettering, Northants

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday - 37.5 hrs per week

Office based role with regular overseas travel.

Our client is a globally recognised research and technology organisation within the consumer products industry supplying an array of products and services to its members and clients that add value throughout their supply chains. For over 20 years the Digital Division has supplied ingenious software applications into manufacturing environments that help users understand and set standards for their process costs. These popular applications provide essential information for business management and enable manufacturers to focus on continuous improvement activities.has recently invested substantially in the further development of these systems moving to a SaaS model. We are looking for a core team member with experience with lean methodology who can advise, analyse and implement improvements internally but also with some of the biggest organisations in the world.

As part of our ongoing expansion and succession plans we are recruiting for a Lean Practitioner with a background in processes/continuous improvement who will become an expert in these software applications assisting with analysing customer processes, assisting with sales, installation, training and ongoing customer support.

About The Role

Be a production/operations subject matter expert in the use of manufacturing systems software applications, when implemented in footwear and other industrial facilities around the globe.

Manage the installation and onboarding of systems and methodology for customers both remotely and on-site around the globe.
Provide technical support and training to customers enabling them to maximise the benefits of software applications within their facilities.
Analyse and implement lean methodology within our team and also customers processes.
Assist the sales and marketing teams, carry out demonstrations and work with potential new customers helping them to understand the benefits of systems and how they would work in their specific business environments.
Proactively gather feedback and assess customer experiences with the systems.
Assist in the development of new requirements for the improvement and development of systems with continuous improvement methodology.
Testing product improvements and changes prior to release.

About You
You should be able and willing to travel overseas extensively.
Good background experience in lean six sigma, ideally including the adoption and implementation of digital technologies for data management and analyses.
Certified Lean Six Sigma (Green belt and above)
Able and willing to travel overseas extensively.
Evidence of strong communication skills and ability to train and teach in a technical environment.
Ability to build strong relationships with customers in different cultures.
Good problem solver.
Proactive self-starter.
Passionate about customer service.
IT savvy.
