Warehouse Operatives Required!
Location: Southall (UB2)
Warehouse Operative - £12.50 per hour to £13.50 per hour
Opportunity: Temp to Perm!
Schedule: 4 on / 4 off or 5 on with 2 off - AM and PM starts available!!!

Start/Finish: 06:00 AM to 18:00 PM or 18:00 PM to 06:00!

Staffing Match, a firmly established recruitment agency, is recruiting for one of our clients, based in Southall, that is a leading service provider for the UK Aviation Industry. The client is on a look-out for a team of warehouse operatives that are looking for ongoing permanent work and have the ambition to progress in their career within the Aviation Industry.

Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:

• Arrange different merchandise within their depot.
• Place the items in their designated cages/rackets/pallets for efficient organization.
• Safely and efficiently transport cages / pallets to the loading area.
• Pick and Pack parcels that are coming through and out.
• Input data on their system.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping targets.
• Adhere to safety procedures and guidelines at all times.
• Work in a fast paced environment, supporting an aviation related company.

About you as a Warehouse Operative:

• No prior warehouse experience required; training is provided.
• Ability to operate a handheld scanner.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work full time
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.

Staffing Match Security Checks:

In line with CAA regulations, you will be required to undergo the following prior to commencing work:

• Basic UK criminal record check
• An overseas criminal record check will be required for any period of over 6 months in countries outside the UK
• Full 5-year history*
• 5-year address history
• If the role requires airside access additional checks and security interviews will be conducted

*Staffing Match will obtain all references, you do NOT need to have been working for the whole 5 years, it can also include unemployment / travelling / education periods etc we just need proof of what you have been doing for the last 5 years and addresses that you have been living at.
