As part of our continued growth, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as a Nights Warehouse Operatives in our Newton Abbot facility.

Position Overview:
As a Nights Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our parcel sorting facility during night shifts. You will be responsible for accurately and swiftly sorting incoming parcels, ensuring they are correctly directed for dispatch or further processing. This position demands individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong attention to detail, and can work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Sort incoming parcels based on destination and other specified criteria.
• Ensure parcels are correctly labelled and directed for dispatch.
• Conduct regular quality checks to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in loading and unloading parcels from delivery vehicles and trailers.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as conveyor belts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse workspace.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirments:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Be able to work a Monday to Friday with alternating Saturdays shift pattern.

Essentials:

You must be located in or close to the Newton Abbot area and ideally have access to your own transport. Due to shift start times, there is little to no public transport in the area at that time.
