We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our esteemed client, focusing on Groundworks and Section 278 schemes in Kingston Upon Thames. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work from home, in the office, and on various sites as required. The ideal candidate will have experience in highway maintenance, drainage, S278, and surfacing works.

Key Responsibilities:
·Sub-Contract Management:
oPrepare sub-contract purchase orders and contracts.
oReview valuations and issue payment notices.
oPrepare payment certificates and update trackers.
oManage the sub-contract management system (CPA).
·Estimating:
oReview and understand project drawings.
oComplete take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities.
oPrice works from first principles and manage sub-contract tender packages.
oProduce tenders for management review.
·Project/Site Management:
oReview drawings and manage changes.
oPrepare and submit variations, costs, and backup documentation.
oRecord site delays and collaborate with site teams.
oAttend weekly programme, commercial, and project meetings.
oConduct on-site measurements and prepare weekly/monthly cost reports.
·Commercial Management:
oTrack monthly project performance (Value vs. Cost).
oPrepare and submit monthly valuations and invoices.
oAssist in producing monthly CVRs, forecasts, and other financial reports.
·Miscellaneous:
oAttend meetings for potential new projects.
oComplete mandatory training and adhere to health and safety policies.
oParticipate in safety stand-down days as required.

Requirements:
·Proven experience in Quantity Surveying, particularly within Groundworks and Section 278 schemes.
·Strong understanding of highway maintenance, drainage, and surfacing works.
·Proficiency in Bluebeam or similar measurement tools.
·Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with various teams.
