Are a skilled Merchandiser looking to take on a new challenge?
We have two exciting opportunities at Merchandiser level with our internationally recognised client.

The focus for these vacancies are to commercially plan and trade across their different fascias; retail (branch), concession and e-commerce.

Merchandiser Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive planning and allocation forward plan, ensuring efficient and accurate stock flow to reflect range and promotional changes.
- Collaborate with the partnership between buying, merchandising, and marketing teams to create sales volume forecasts for new ranges, seasons, and promotions.
- Own and maintain accurate sales volume forecasts at the channel level, regularly analysing performance and making recommendations for improvement.
- Monitor stock levels and proactively address any discrepancies or issues that may impact sales targets.
- Collaborate with the buying and merchandising teams to optimise stock support and ensure the availability of products to meet customer demand.
- Analyse sales and inventory data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks, making data-driven recommendations to drive sales and maximise profitability.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align merchandising activities with promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform future planning and decision-making.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights on sales performance and stock availability.

Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar branch merchandising role or merchandising role, within the retail industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using merchandising and inventory management systems.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information clearly and confidently.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving sales growth.
- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences within the retail industry.
