Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a PR & Marketing Manager based near London Liverpool Street on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for playing a pivotal role in shaping the clients PR and marketing strategies, reporting directly to the Head of social media, this exciting group-wide role requires a proactive approach, working closely with the senior leadership team.

Collaborating with the Head of social media and the senior leadership team, you will develop and implement the agency’s PR and marketing strategies, your primary responsibilities will include expanding our audience, strategic planning to drive business growth and spearheading agency events, Additionally, you will elevate brand awareness and optimise the clients PR and social media channels.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement impactful marketing strategies to strengthen the agency's market position.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PR and marketing within the agency, sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration and identifying key opportunities to drive growth.
  • Lead the agency's marketing strategy under the guidance of the Head of Social Media, with a comprehensive focus on PR, social media, web presence, and industry awards.
  • Manage the agency's PR strategy, building relationships with media outlets and securing valuable coverage.
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns across the agency’s service offerings.
  • Take charge of planning and executing company events and group-wide communications.
  • Develop and execute the agency’s awards strategy.
  • Create and manage a calendar of events to enhance the agency’s visibility and promote our services, including raising awareness in the Midlands and the North.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new markets, services, or products, ensuring adaptability to market changes, consumer trends, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of the marketing plan, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure they can market the business effectively to prospective clients.
  • Champion the agency's brand, collaborating with the Group Creative Director to ensure consistent branding and tone of voice across the organisation.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree or HND is preferred.
  • Portfolio showcasing
  • B2B marketing experience
  • Demonstrable success in driving growth through advertising and other marketing channels.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of the digital marketing channel mix: SEO, social media, PPC, display and brand building.
  • Familiarity with marketing software such as Google Business, Tools, Adobe Suite, Hootsuite, Mailchimp, WordPress.
  • Understanding of GDPR and relevant legislation.
  • Exceptional copywriting, grammar and proofreading skills.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 40 hours per week, Hybrid working (3 days in the office)

In return our client offers a salary up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Please note that this role requires the candidate to travel to both London and Manchester when required.
