I am recruiting for the UK’s largest independent company specialising in commercial equipment provided to businesses. This company install and service the equipment and they are looking for an experienced coordinator to schedule the rotas for the engineers.

This is an exciting role to join the service desk as a controller to join a  team and manage the Engineer’s workload and to ensure that customers are receiving the appropriate assistance.

You will have the responsibility of managing the engineer’s daily work schedule, prioritisation of jobs and also resolution of end user help requests.

You will monitor track and build a relationship with the engineer’s.

You will work on the internal system to book open and close jobs and keep customer’s updated at all times with ETAs via telephone and E-mails .

Ultimately you will efficiently schedule Engineers to respond to Service and Preventative Maintenance calls

It is essential that you have scheduled for engineers or coordinated for repairs /planned or preventative work before in a previous role.

A facilities coordinator type background would be ideal or previous service desk experience.

Hours will be Mon-Fri 08:30 to 17:30 on in three Saturday mornings 09:00-13:00 (on rota basis 1 in 3) this will be paid overtime paying Time and Half
