Due to a period of growth and the opportunities we are already seeing from with the use of AI, we are looking to hire and train the next generation of AI software engineers. These Graduate and Apprenticeship roles are fantastic opportunities as they will give successful candidates the opportunity to join an experienced team and learn from colleagues who are experts within their field. It will help bring to life the skills and techniques you have developed through your studies.

Based at our European Head Office in Chorley, Lancashire the TVS AI Lab serves the TVS Group globally and it’s 20,000 employees.
We are currently looking for Graduates and apprentices, likely in the following disciplines, who wish to start a career in IT and AI:

• Computing
• Programming / AI
• Maths
• Physics, Engineering, Robotics

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience: 

You will have a passion for technology, computing, and programming. Full training is provided from the outset and ongoing for the rest of your career. You will be involved in developing the next generation of AI powered software and contributing your own ideas and vision for the future.

You will have the opportunity to get involved in some of the industry’s leading technologies NodeJS, Python, SQL and NoSQL, whilst investigating emerging developments in AI, including LLMs, GPTs, Classification and Object Detection. Training will be provided, and you will learn and be helped by some very experienced and capable programmers. After year one you will be a competent programmer, year two will see your technical abilities develop and get involved in the business decisions. By year three opportunities will open to specialise technically or to take a role managing your own projects liaising between IT and the business customers.

Security Clearance Requirement
Candidates must be eligible to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance. This process includes verification of identity, right to work in the UK, employment history, and a basic criminal records check for unspent convictions. Please note that candidates must have resided in the UK for 3 years to meet BPSS eligibility requirements.
