Job description: 

Defining the product's quality requirements

Identify and evaluate available suppliers for the necessary parts

Conducting joint quality planning

Establishing cooperation and collaboration during relationship period

Validating compliance to requirements and regulations

Certifying qualified suppliers

Conducting quality improvement plans

Developing, implementing, and maintaining supplier ratings-scorecards

Maintaining information systems and ensuring records are accurate (both paper-based and electronic), including inspection reports, continuous improvement initiatives & corrective actions.

Writing non-conforming material reports when required and be familiar with the process of quarantining products / materials that have been rejected.

Providing communications to management concerning quality problems associated with either the supply of parts/material or completed product.

Assisting quality & engineering in the investigations of supplier and/or process related quality issues.

Monitoring any data trends produced in supplier and/or production line processes in order to ensure that each process maintains consistency within the specified parameters.

Liaising with production staff in order to resolve any internally or externally generated quality problems.

Leading the completion of scheduled supplier Audits.

Working with due regard to Health and Safety at all times.

Ensuring good housekeeping prevails within area of control.

Skills and Knowledge Required 

Previous experience within Aerospace and Automotive manufacturing (desirable) 

Working knowledge of ISO Quality Systems

Knowledge of APQP and PAPP reuqirements. 

Shall be familiar with Quality core tools FMEA, Control Plans Kaizen and CI.
