Working Hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday

Company Overview

Rocket Staffing are recruiting for a QHSE Compliance Officer on behalf of an established privately owned manufacturing company in Northamptonshire. Our client specialises in providing packaging solutions to various industries. The company prioritises quality, efficiency, and safety, supported by continuous investment in technology, machinery, and workforce development.

Job Purpose

The QHSE Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that the organisation adheres to relevant standards, regulations, and processes. This role involves managing ISO standards, regulatory compliance, documentation, training, and risk management to maintain high-quality operational practices across the company’s sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
  • Maintain documentation, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Prepare and manage compliance reports, documentation, and audit evidence.
  • Ensure all necessary records are maintained accurately.

Training and Awareness

  • Develop and conduct training sessions to educate employees on compliance requirements.
  • Promote awareness of quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across the organisation.

Risk Management:

  • Perform risk assessments and support the development of mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of risk management activities.

Person Specification

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Compliance Management, particularly within a manufacturing environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001 standards.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong administrative skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Compliance Management or ISO standards.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective training and presentation skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Working Environment

  • Primarily based at the site with occasional travel to the printing site.
  • Office-based role with the expectation to engage with different departments and participate in on-site audits and inspections.
