Position: SEMH Secondary School Specialist
Location: Kings Heath
Contract Type: Full-Time / Part-Time (Flexible)
Salary: £102 - £119 per day

About the Role:
Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Secondary School Specialist to work with students who require additional support with their social, emotional, and mental health needs. You will play a crucial role in guiding these young individuals towards achieving their full potential in a nurturing and understanding environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support to secondary-aged students with SEMH needs.
* Develop and implement strategies to manage challenging behaviors effectively.
* Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to create individualized learning plans.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.
* Monitor and report on student progress, adapting interventions as necessary.

Requirements:
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience working with SEMH students in a secondary school setting.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEMH challenges, interventions, and best practices.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable.
* DBS: A valid DBS check registered on the Update Service is essential.
* References: Ability to obtain professional references that reflect your experience and commitment to the role.
