Class 2 Drivers required for work based in Chesterfield!

Driver Hire Chesterfield are seeking Class 2 drivers to provide cover to clients based in Chesterfield and surrounding areas; with various opportunities available we would be keen to speak to you about your experience. This is an exciting opportunity for professional drivers to join dynamic teams and provide crucial transportation services across the region.

Pay:

• Up to £15.01 an hour
• Guaranteed 8 hours a day (with potential for overtime)
• 2 rates of pay to suit your needs, with holiday pay paid upfront upon request
• Upwards of £120 a day

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct timely and efficient deliveries and collections.
• Perform vehicle checks before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness.
• Load and unload goods safely, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points.
• Maintain communication with the transport office regarding any issues or delays.

Requirements:

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving license.
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
• Digital Tachograph card.
• Experience in a similar driving role is preferred (Over 1 year required)
• Good knowledge of Chesterfield and surrounding areas.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and time management skills.
