IMH Recruitment are currently seeking a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to join our client based in Reading. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to our customers. This position requires a valid Commercial Driving Licence and previous experience delivering heavy goods.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performing curb-side deliveries of flooring to customers' properties
- Completing up to 20 drops per day
- Dealing with customers face to face.
- Assisting with route planning
- Loading and unloading heavy goods
- Delivering to Reading and surrounding areas down south west of the UK.
Requirements:
- Valid Commercial driver's license with no more than 3 points
- CPC Card
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience delivering heavy goods
- The ability to lift and move heavy goods
Hours & Pay:
- Monday – Friday 5:30am – finish usually around 3pm)
- £12.50 per hour
- Temp to perm
