A globally renowned, market-leading technology OEM are looking to hire a Head of Projects to head up their high-performing project delivery function. The primary focus of this New Product Introduction (NPI) focussed role is to coordinate the successful introduction of cutting-edge and high-tech products to market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a high-performing, cross-functional project management department, consisting of four project managers.
  • Overseeing the execution of new product (NPI) related projects, valued up to £7m each.
  • The product range consists of cutting-edge electro-mechanical devices with complex hardware, software, and embedded software elements.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive programme plans, dependencies, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conducting program-level risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies to address challenges across multiple projects.


To be considered for this position, candidates need to have proven Project Management experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver product-related projects within an R&D environment. It would be advantageous to hold a bachelor's degree (or higher) in an engineering or business-related field, a project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2), as well as excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
