Early Years Teaching Assistant - Newham

We are currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school in Newham. You will be working with a dynamic team responsible for the development and progression of children aged 1-5 years in a mainstream primary school.

Responsibilities:

  • Observations and assessments of each child's development, providing regular updates to parents and colleagues
  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all children in your care
  • Willingness to comply with the schools' policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 early years qualification (EYE Level 3)
  • SEND experience is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work effectively independently as part of a team
  • Recent Nursery experience in a mainstream school or private nursery
