We are looking for people with qualifications or previous experience supporting children that would be available Monday to Friday in Bolton.

The ideal candidate would be passionate about working with children and be experienced in supporting children with challenging behaviour or special needs.

OBJECTIVES OF ROLE

• To provide support to classrooms ensuring the best education is delivered
• To work as part of a dedicated team to ensure high quality standards are met
• To maintain the safety and well being of children, colleagues, and guests of the school.
• To give individuals the best support and ensure they feel safe and secure in there environment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deal with safeguarding issues in a timely manner, ensuring appropriate action is taken place in line with company procedures
• Reporting any concerns around the children's welfare in line with company procedures
• Dealing with emergency situations in an effective manner, contacting the emergency services, seeking necessary support, following protocol
• Support the classroom teacher in managing the classroom to ensure the receive the best education.

CRITERIA

• Experience or qualification's in a similar setting
• Experience and awareness of safeguarding
• Comfortable with basic tasks such as tidying/cleaning
• To be able to provide 2 years reference history
• Overseas police check if you have been in the country for less than 5 years
