ABC Teachers are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching assistant to work in a full time 1:1 role with a child with high level needs, based in a primary school in the Telford area.

The role 
This role will include:

• Full time hours from 08:30-15:30.
• Dedicated support to the pupil they are supporting on the educational, social and emotional side of things.
• To start from September and continue until the child secures a placement at a specialist school.

The school 
This will be based at a two-form entry primary school based in the Telford area.

Requirements 
To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant position, you will: 

• Be a caring and empathetic person who is able to provide vital support to the pupil they will be supporting.
• Must have previous experience working with Special Educational Needs.
• Any applicants for this role will ideally have a childcare qualification, however any applicants with relevant experience to this role will also be able to apply.
• Be willing to commit to full time hours.
• Be able to gain references from relevant roles from the last 2 years.
• Be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
