Vacancy – Branch Sales Assistant 
Industry - Electrical Wholesale
Location – Telford, Shropshire
Working hours Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5PM – No weekends
Salary - up to circa £30,000 + Bonuses

Rhodium Consulting is recruiting for a Branch Assistant with great electrical product knowledge to join our ambitious and successful client in the electrical wholesale industry.

The Job
Handling enquiries
Regular phone contact of customers to secure orders on electrical wholesale products
Setting up new customers, payments terms
Raising quotations for customer orders
Progressing queries
Providing technical advice where required
Reactive and proactive telephone sales
Serving customers at the trade counter
Developing the customer base by regular contact
To ensure orders for customers are prepared and processed promptly and accurately
Taking customer orders and quotes.
Administration duties, producing quotes and invoices
To ensure any complaints or issues raised by customers are quickly resolved
Dealing with any telephone queries effectively and communicating with customers and colleague
Assisting with picking and packing items for dispatch
Able to carry out stock checks 
General warehouse duties

The Candidate
Experience of the Electrical wholesale sector is a distinct advantage
Excellent knowledge of electrical products
Knowledge of LED Lighting
Polished communication skills (written and verbal)
Computer literate (inc Microsoft Office)
Enjoys speaking to people on the phone
Reliable and committed working attitude with great organisational skills
A hard-working team player with a flexible and helpful attitude
