KPJ Group is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading provider of packing services at their Blackburn site.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with mechanical bias and previous experience in food manufacturing.

• Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4:15pm

What will you be doing as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer?

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on machinery and facilities
• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently
• Performing repairs and general maintenance on equipment
• Setting up machinery during production changeovers
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and HACCP/BRC standards
• Maintaining optimal working conditions for equipment

What do you need?

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing maintenance role
• Familiarity with various types of machinery including multi head weighing machines, bagging machines & liner weighers
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• An apprenticeship in a relevant field (desirable)
