We are recruiting on behalf of a timber merchant in Cricklade, SN6 postcode, for a Class 2 Driver on a temporary to permanent contract.

Working as part of their transport and delivery team, driving a curtain-sided rigid 18-tonne truck, your main duties will be to complete an average of 6 drops per day of wood products to customers across the local area. Due to the nature of the work, a remote grab HIAB is required for 50% of the workload, so there is an opportunity to be trained on this too in the long term.

This is a Monday to Friday, temporary to permanent booking to start asap. You will work for 12 weeks via ANCORA (the agency) before transferring to a permanent contract with our client.

Due to insurance purposes, drivers must have held their Class 2 for at least 12 months, be a minimum of 25 years in age and have no more than 6 points on their license.

Full Induction and training is provided.

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 07:30am starts daily, usually finished around 3-4pm daily.
Average of 40hrs per week

Hourly Pay Rates:
£15.00 per hour (PAYE)
*Salaried upon completion of the T2P period*
