Role: Religious Studies Teacher

Salary: £31,350 - £47,839

Duties vary widely but can include:

• Assist students who struggle with listening and reading, providing the necessary support to help them overcome these challenges and improve their academic skills
• Maintain detailed records of each pupil's progress, using this data to help them achieve higher marks and grades through targeted interventions and support
• Guide students in developing essential life skills and mentor them to cultivate a positive outlook on their education and personal growth
• Utilise various instructional strategies to align with curricular objectives, ensuring that all pupils have equal opportunities to succeed and engage in their learning
• Maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of the National Curriculum programs, with a particular emphasis on Religious Studies, to deliver effective and relevant instruction
• Incorporate modern educational technologies and digital tools to enhance learning experiences
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel valued and respected

The Successful candidate will have:

• Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one
• Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
• Prior experience of working within the education sector
• Good knowledge of the Religious Studies curricular
• Ability to commute to Chesham Bois and the surrounding areas
