At Job & Talent, we are recruiting for Production Operative to work with an important company in the Warrington WA5 3TP area. THG | Myprotein is a leading sports nutrition brand, delivering a range of quality products including protein powder, vitamins and minerals, high-protein foods, snack alternatives.

As this is a 6am start, if you live outside of Warrington please ensure that you have your own transport.

Shift Patterns:

Rotational

• Working Hours: 06:00 - 18:00 day shift
• Rota: 3 out of 7 one week / 4 out of 7 the next week, on set shift pattern, working 2 weekends out of 4

Monday-Friday Rotation AM/PM

• Week 1: Mon- Thurs 06:00 - 14:30 Friday 06:00 - 14:00
• Week 2: Mon- Thurs 14:30 - 23:00 Friday 14:00 - 22:00

Pay Rates

• From 6am to 6 pm - £11.88 p/h with enhanced weekend pay at £13.12 p/h.
• After 6pm - £13.31
• 1 hour paid breaks - for a 12h shift.
• 30 minutes paid break - for a 8.5h shift
• Overtime: 1.5 x basic pay rate after 48 hours worked in one week

As a Production Operative you will need to have:

• Interest to learn new skills and processes as full training will be provided.
• Communication and numeracy skills - a good level of English is required.
• Good attention to details.
• Excellent Timekeeping and high performance.
• This is a full-time role; you must have full-time Right to Work permitted.

Role of a Production Operative:

• Working within a busy/fast paced environment which requires a high level of dexterity and accuracy.
• Manual weighing out of ingredients of bags up to 25kg - following a recipe.
• Quality checking and reporting results
• Working to a schedule as part of a team
• Clean-down the station between batches and allergens
• Checking of batches & quantities
• Checking documentation to ensure products are packed in line with specification.
• Complete all health and safety checks and actions in line with company procedure.
