Our client is currently seeking a talented Production Engineer. This permanent role is pivotal in supporting the business by transforming customer requirements into detailed instructions for the repair and overhaul of products.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a key technical role on all production-related issues
  • Focusing on issues related to production and the overhaul or repair of products
  • Creating and updating Overhaul Instructions and Work Instructions
  • Optimising strip down, cleaning, painting, and assembly tasks
  • Designing test equipment interfaces, such as adaptor plates and asset mounting devices
  • Writing test specifications for product testing and programming of specific test equipment
  • Conducting vibration analysis of products and assets
  • Assisting in the setup of engineering and technical requirements for production


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in the automotive sector
  • Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, though other qualifications with significant practical experience considered
  • Experience in overhaul and repair
  • Strong practical engineering approach
  • Proficiency in CAD and Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent technical documentation skills
  • Fluent in technical and conversational English
